A pair of diehard Kansas City Royals fans have given the gift that keeps on giving to the rest of the Royal Blue community: a song. Oh, and there's a video that goes along with it.

Rapper Kemet Coleman and Kyle James, the son of Kansas City Mayor Sly James, have released a new song for the Royals fan base "Straight Outta Kauffman." The duo wrote recorded the song in Coleman's home studio.

"It speaks to how the country sees Kansas City as just a small-market team, not really a huge deal, kind of a fly by night, flash in the pan kind of thing, and we're saying no," Coleman told KSHB-TV.

James said the song has a deeper meaning than just being fans of the team. "I thought about how much I had been inspired by the Royals, their refusal to quit," said James. "I can really relate to that, and I think a lot of people can."
