Top Miami Marlins prospect Josh Naylor still has some lessons to learn off the field. According to a story from the Sun-Sentinel, Naylor injured Greensboro Grasshoppers teammate Stone Garrett in a knife prank gone wrong over the weekend.

The team did not release any information on the specific details of the prank aside from its results: Garrett was placed on the DL after receiving three stitches in his right thumb due to a cut suffered from the prank. He will also be evaluated by a hand specialist in Miami.

The 18-year-old Naylor was the 12th overall pick in the 2015 MLB Draft. He owns a .262 batting average with seven home runs and 36 RBIs in 52 games so far this season. Garrett is also a top prospect in the Marlins' system. The 20-year-old was named the Marlins' Minor League Player of the Year last season but is off to a slow start this year after suffering a different injury that kept him out of action this spring until April 23.
