Royals fans rescued a puppy from a hot car outside Kauffman Stadium
After leaving Kauffman Stadium on Sunday, a group of Kansas City Royals fans made an important assist when they heard whimpering and discovered a puppy locked inside a hot car.
According to the Kansas City Star, the fans called the Kansas City Police Department, which radoied Royals guest services. Royals staff left a note on the car and kept the puppy hydrated and safe as they awaited response.
As of this time it's unclear if the dog returned home with the folks who appear to have brought him to the stadium.
