Aaron Nola made his major-league debut Tuesday night and he did not disappoint.
The Phillies pitcher threw a gem, giving up only one run in six innings of work with six strikeouts.

Nola also got another 'MLB first' out of the way in his debut, knocking in his first major-league hit, a single into center off of Tampa Bay Rays pitcher Tim Beckham.
Despite Nola's best efforts, the Phillies went on to lose, 1-0.
