Keeps rolling in no-decision Nola did not factor into the decision in Sunday's 5-4 loss to Atlanta, allowing one run on four hits and one walk with five strikeouts over seven innings.
Impact Nola allowed a run in the sixth inning and departed in line for the win, throwing 65 of 93 pitches for strikes with 11 whiffs. The veteran has now yielded two earned runs or fewer in six straight outings, delivering quality starts in three of those contests. He'll take a 4.76 ERA, 1.37 WHIP and 162:52 K:BB across 155 innings this season into a road rematch with Atlanta next weekend.

Continues resurgence with victory Nola (6-10) earned the win over Arizona on Monday, allowing one run on five hits and two walks while striking out four batters over five innings.
Impact Nola yielded just one extra-base hit -- a third-inning double that also produced the only run against him. The right-hander did rack up a hefty 104 pitches over his five frames, but he mostly held Arizona in check and extended his streak of allowing two or fewer runs to five straight starts. Nola entered August with a 3-9 record and a 5.61 ERA, but he turned things around considerably during the month, going 3-1 with a 2.65 ERA and a 41:12 K:BB across 34 innings spanning six starts. The veteran hurler will look to continue building momentum the next time he takes the mound, which is scheduled to be a home tilt against Atlanta.

Quality start not enough Tuesday Nola (5-10) took the loss Tuesday against the Mariners after allowing two runs on three hits and three walks while striking out seven over six innings.
Impact Nola turned in a strong performance despite coming away with the loss. He surrendered a solo homer to Cal Raleigh in the second inning but kept Seattle off the board over the next three frames before Josh Naylor's RBI single broke a 1-1 tie in the sixth. Nola has pitched considerably better of late, posting a 2.79 ERA across five staets and 29.0 innings in August, but Philadelphia's offense provided little support Tuesday. His season ERA dropped from 5.12 to 5.03 with this quality start, and he's tabbed to make his next start on the road against the Diamondbacks next week.

Impact Nola was excellent Wednesday, as he logged eight or more strikeouts for a third straight outing en route to his second consecutive win. Nola has been pitching well of late -- he's posted a 2.51 ERA while striking out 34 across 28.2 innings in his last five starts. He's lowered his ERA to 5.12 across 26 starts (137 innings) this season with a 1.42 WHIP and 146:46 K:BB. Nola's currently lined up to face the Mariners on the road his next time out.
