INJURIES

Shaky in no-decision Nola didn't factor into the decision Saturday against the Rockies, allowing three runs on six hits and two walks in 4.2 innings. He struck out three.
Impact Nola came one out short of qualifying for the win Saturday, managing a fairly pedestrian performance all around despite a favorable matchup. The 32-year-old right-hander continues to struggle for consistency in 2026, as he's given up one run or zero on just two occasions through eight starts and exceeded five strikeouts just one time in his past six outings. Nola will bring a shaky 5.14 ERA, 1.48 WHIP and 44:15 K:BB over 42 innings into his next appearance, which is set to come in Pittsburgh.

Rebounds with six scoreless Nola (2-3) earned the win Monday against the Marlins, allowing five hits while striking out five over six scoreless innings.
Impact Nola turned in a much-needed bounce-back performance after dropping three of his previous four starts while allowing 17 runs over 20 innings during that stretch. The right-hander was in full control, not allowing a single Marlin to even reach second base, thanks in part to catcher Garrett Stubbs, who threw out two attempted base stealers. Despite the strong showing, Nola's season line still sits at a 5.06 ERA, 1.45 WHIP and 40:13 K:BB across 37.1 innings. He's slated to face Colorado next, a matchup that saw Nola strikeout nine in a win last time out.

Struggles continue Sunday Nola (1-3) took the loss Sunday against Atlanta, allowing six runs on seven hits and three walks over 4.2 innings. He struck out six.
Impact Atlanta got to Nola early Sunday. The righty gave up a three-run homer to Matt Olson in the first inning before giving up another three runs in the third, punctuated by an Eli White homer. Nola's failed to make it out of the fifth inning in back-to-back outings, allowing 11 runs in just nine frames in that span. His ERA is up to 6.03 through six starts (31.1 innings) with a 1.56 WHIP and 35:13 K:BB. Nola will look to turn things around in his next outing, tentatively scheduled for next week in Miami.

Allows five runs in loss Nola (1-2) took the loss Monday, allowing five runs on six hits and four walks over 4.1 innings against the Cubs. He struck out five.
Impact Nola was undone by a four-run second inning, as a sinker left over the middle was turned into a three-run homer by Dansby Swanson. It's been a lackluster start for the veteran hurler, who has allowed three-plus runs in four of five starts and owns a 5.06 ERA and 1.46 WHIP across 26.2 innings. Nola will look to get back on track in his next outing, which is projected to come over the weekend against Atlanta.

Goes five innings in no-decision Nola didn't factor into the decision Tuesday against the Cubs, allowing three runs on eight hits and two walks with five strikeouts across five innings.
Impact Nola dealt with a lot of traffic on the bases and was unable to hold onto an early 3-0 lead, as he gave up five hits and a couple of runs in the third inning before walking a pair ahead of a game-tying single in the fifth. No longer the top-of-the-rotation starter he once was as he closes in on his 33rd birthday and coming off a 6.01 ERA across 17 starts last season, Nola has logged a 4.03 ERA and 23:6 K:BB across 22.1 innings to begin the 2026 campaign. He's really struggled against left-handed hitters since the start of last season. Nola is in line to face the Cubs again in his next start Monday at Wrigley Field.

Quality start in first loss Nola (1-1) took the loss Wednesday against the Giants, allowing three runs on five hits and one walk in six innings. He struck out three.
Impact After keeping the Rockies quiet for just one run in his last start, Nola was hit a bit harder Wednesday. The right-hander had been cruising through five shutout frames but was ultimately tagged for three extra-base hits, and most of the damage to his ledger came courtesy of a sixth-inning Rafael Devers three-run homer. Nola has a quality 3.63 ERA, 1.10 WHIP and 19:4 K:BB through 17.1 frames, which he'll be looking to build on in next week's scheduled outing against the Cubs.

Sharp in victory Nola (1-0) picked up the win Friday against the Rockies, allowing one run on five hits and one walk while striking out nine in 6.1 innings of work.
Impact It certainly helped that the Phillies put up seven runs before he even took the mound, but that doesn't take away from how sharp Nola was. The 32-year-old kept the ball in the yard Friday at altitude after being burned with homers twice in his season-opening start against the Rangers and added nine strikeouts to bring his total up to 16 on the young season. Nola is next lined up to face the Giants on Wednesday.
