With the Padres being shutout twice in a row and the team being limited to four hits over the past two games, at home, some fans at Petco Park began booing on Wednesday afternoon. Padres blog Gaslamp Ball points out that in an interview after the game, right fielder Matt Kemp didn’t mince words about it. He said he didn’t blame the fans for reacting that way. He even said, “I would boo us too the way we’re playing.” Marty Caswell of The Mighty 1090 Sports Radio posted a video of the interview.
