Kenley Jansen latest: Marlins, Dodgers vying for closer's service
The off-season hot stove is warming up after Aroldis Chapman's record-setting deal to rejoin the Yankees on a five-year, $86 million contract and more deals could soon follow.
Chapman openly said that the Miami Marlins were runner-ups in the bidding war for his services. The Marlins have decided to focus their attention on bolstering their bullpen for 2017 and Jansen is their top priority.
The Los Angeles Dodgers remain in the mix and hope to retain their closer from last season.
