D-backs' Marshall returns to mound for first time since fracturing skull
Marshall says he's now reached a point where he can begin to focus predominantly on baseball once again.
"Rehab's great," he said. "It's been a long process, but I'm to the point now where I feel like I can really just focus on baseball and less about coming back from getting hit in the head."
In two seasons with the D-backs, Marshall has posted a 4-6 record with a 3.45 ERA, 1.47 WHIP, and .287 opponent batting average in 70 outings.
With the moves that the front office has made to bolster the roster this offseason, Marshall is already feeling positive vibes for 2016.
"It's a real good vibe, real good energy around the field now," the Kansas State alum said. "This team's here early and we're working really hard, and we think we're going to have pretty good results."
