Anthony Rizzo gives World Series-winning ball to owner Tom Ricketts
Anthony Rizzo caught the final out of the 2016 World Series that ended the Chicago Cubs' championship drought and pocketed the ball before the team celebrated at Progressive Field. On Friday, he handed the ball over to owner Tom Ricketts,
Rizzo explained his reasoning for giving the ball to Rickets as “a victory for all of us.”

The ball is estimated to be worth over $3 million, according to Bloomberg. The ball was authenticated after the final out.
Rizzo also owns the ball that sent the Cubs to the World Series as he also fielded the final out of the 2016 National League Championship series.
