North Carolina State senior Augusta James won the Canadian Women's Amateur on Friday, shooting a 2-under 69 for a six-stroke victory.
James, from Bath, Ontario, had a 14-under 270 total at Craigowan Golf and Country Club. She broke the tournament and course records Thursday with a 63.
''It's such an honor to be part of a strong tradition,'' James said. ''So many fantastic women before me have won this tournament, so I'm proud to have my name up with them.''
