North Carolina quarterback Marquise Williams gave the Tar Heels an early lead over No. 23 Pitt Thursday night when he delivered a 71-yard TD strike to Ryan Switzer.
Williams shook off Pitt pressure -- and a face mask penalty -- and fired a perfect deep ball to Switzer to give the Tar Heels a 10-3 lead over the Panthers in a battle for first place in the ACC Coastal Division.
