WATCH: A look at last week's Palmetto rivalry between SC and Clemson

Last week in the annual Palmetto Bowl, No. 1 Clemson narrowly avoided an upset on the road -- defeating in-state rival South Carolina by a score of 37-32.

It was a contest in which the Gamecocks displayed terrific guile, grit, heart, and determination. No one really expected South Carolina to remain competitive in this contest. However, interim head coach Shawn Elliott had his team ready to compete from the start.
