Penn State head coach James Franklin was probably right when he told attendees of his coaches caravan stop in Lancaster, Pa., that talking about next year's draft prospects now is "ridiculous," but that does not mean it won't be done.

It is May, after all, and the start of preseason practice is still more than two months away, so we have to pass the time somehow, right?

In that case, The Patriot-News notes three Nittany Lion seniors are already pegged as top-five players at their positions for 2016 according to NFLDraftScout.com: defensive tackle Anthony Zettel, safety Adrian Amos (who is rated at cornerback, the position he played last season) and tight end Kyle Carter.
