Tennessee Tech beats Indiana State, 38-37

Jared Davis completed a TD pass for Tennessee Tech with a minute remaining in the fourth quarter to squeak out a 38-37 win against Indiana State Saturday night.
Davis, who threw for just 97 yards, made the only TD pass for Tennessee Tech to foil an Indiana State comeback. Davis also rushed for a TD in the third quarter to stretch a 31-19 lead for the Golden Eagles (3-2).
Mike Perish threw a TD pass and a two-point conversion to give Indiana State (1-3) a 34-31 lead in the final minute of the third quarter, later stretched to six points after a field goal in the beginning of the fourth.
The Sycamores covered 554 yards of offense compared to Tennessee Tech's 264. The Golden Eagles scored early when James Huguely returned a blocked punt 87 yards for a touchdown.
