Stanley's 2 TD passes help Florida A&M beat Hampton 31-14

TALLAHASEE, Fla. (AP) Ryan Stanley threw two touchdown passes to help Florida A&M top Hampton 31-14 on Saturday.

Stanley completed 18 of 31 attempts for 212 yards. Devin Bowers rushed for 65 yards on 18 carries while Hans Supre and Tevin Spells both added 2-yard touchdown runs for the Rattlers (3-5, 3-2 Mid-Eastern Athletic).

Stanley hit Louben Polinice from 19 yards out in the first quarter, and Hampton's Yahkee Johnson's 16-yard touchdown run evened it at 7-all at the half. Stanley hooked up with Brandon Norwood on a 15-yard scoring strike to complete a 10-play, 80-yard drive midway through the third to make it 17-7 and FAMU pulled away with fourth-quarter scores by Supre and Spells.

Hampton (3-4, 3-2) was led by Johnson with 97 yards rushing on 14 carries. Jaylian Williamson completed 16 of 35 attempts for 135 yards.
