Stanford transfer ready for anything at Penn State

For Kevin Reihner, it's so far so good in his transition from Stanford to Penn State.
"Reihner has done a great job," Penn State head coach James Franklin told reporters during the team's media day Thursday. "I'm really interested to see how it translates on the field. His leadership in the meeting rooms, his knowledge of the game, his passion for Penn State with his family connections and ties has been really good. He's brought a lot of value to our organization already before even hitting the field. He's been a great voice with our players."
For his part, Reihner said he is willing to do anything he can to get on the field in his final year of eligibility.
The Pennsylvania native told PennLive.com the hardest part of adjusting to a new offense has been the vocabulary Penn State uses as opposed to what he knew at Stanford.
"Some of (the terms) were different meanings," he said. "Conceptually, I feel like I have the offense down."
Whether or not he can earn a starting spot remains to be seen. He will begin camp working at center, where Angelo Mangiro is a returning starter. Managiro has started at multiple positions during his Penn State career, however.
