South Dakota-New Mexico moved to Sept. 1

(STATS) - The South Dakota at New Mexico season-opening football game has been moved up by two days to Sept. 1.

Kickoff will be at 9 p.m. ET in Albuquerque.

The first-ever meeting between the two programs is Bob Nielson's first game as South Dakota's coach. It will be the Coyotes' first Thursday night game since 2009 when the program opened at home against William Penn.
