Smith talks potential for alcohol sales at Ohio Stadium

With more schools deciding to or at least considering selling alcohol at college sporting events, how soon could Ohio State get into the booze business at football games?

Director of athletics Gene Smith told ElevenWarriors.com it might happen -- but probably not this year.

"I think it'll probably pick up this year," the Buckeye boss said. "We've had healthier discussions this year because of Maryland, Minnesota did it three years ago, Texas. We haven't had that discussion to that level of detail. We know that if we did it we'd probably net seven figures, you know that based upon our attendance."
