Recruiting: No. 1 RB prospect in Texas has Horns on his top 10 list

David Letterman made top 10 lists famous, and to carry on the legacy once Dave is gone are college football recruits.
It seems every highly touted recruit releases a list at some point, and running back Devwah Whaley, the No. 1-rated rusher in Texas and No. 5-rated overall player, according to 247Sports, is the latest to drop his top 10 list, an alphabetical ordering of the schools he has the most interest in joining, as of now.

Notre Dame, Texas' season-opening opponent, became the latest school to make Whaley an offer.

The good news for Texas is that Whaley has it on his list, even though he has yet to visit campus and seems to have an affection for Texas A&M, judging by his multiple trips to College Station.
According 247Sports, Whaley says he's had positive conversations with Texas running backs coach Tommie Robinson, and that he hopes to visit Austin this summer. Waley has also said he hopes to make his decision before the start of his senior season.
The clock is ticking.
Maybe his next top 10 list will order the teams by his actual interest level. Stay tuned.
