PHOTO: Father of Florida QB Grier creates 'Free Willy' T-shirt campaign

Florida quarterback Will Grier hopes to lessen the one-year suspension handed down by the NCAA, in relation to a positive test for a banned substance. 

Grier and his lawyers reportedly spoke with the NCAA on Monday afternoon, offering an appeal to get the suspension reduced. 

While this is an on-going situation -- and one that will affect the football team considerably -- Grier's family took to the beach for some rest, relaxation and subtle messaging. 

Grier's father, Chad, posted a picture on Instagram of himself with six women. All of them were wearing shirts with the slogan "Free Willy," along with Grier's No. 7. 

Using the sentiment from the 1993 killer whale-themed movie of the same name, Grier's father clearly hopes his son will return to the field sooner than later.
