While the struggles of Penn State's offensive line dominated the headlines emanating from the Nittany Lions' 27-10 loss to Temple in their season opener, the Owls weren't the only ones seemingly living in the opposing backfield.

Penn State was credited with 15 tackles for loss, a total the Nittany Lions last reached in a game against Michigan in early 2007 according to the team's official website.

All-Big Ten defensive tackle Anthony Zettel led the charge with 2.5 tackles for loss, a number matched by end Carl Nassib and linebacker Brandon Bell.

Trevor Williams had two stops in the backfield while Austin Johnson, Troy Reeder, Garrett Sickles, and Gary Wooten Jr. all had one and Tarow Barney, Curtis Cothran and Jordan Lucas had .5 apiece.

The only team to log more tackles for loss in the first week of the season was Colorado State, which had 16.
