Ohio State WRs coach mocks resumé comparison
Any doubts this is in fact the offseason and Ohio State-Michigan is still among the pre-eminent rivalries in all of sports were removed Saturday night by a few viral tweets.
2015 is really something, isn't it?
Zach Smith got it all started, we think, when the Ohio State receivers coach published a tweet that included a graphic comparing parts of his resumé with those of his counterpart at Michigan, Jedd Fisch.

The implication was the image came from the Michigan staff and was distributed to potential recruits, but given the age we live in, the true origin of this piece of correspondence could be tough to pin down.
Regardless, Smith's tweet certainly did not go unnoticed as fans picked it up and ran with it.
Tom Herman, Ohio State's offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach the past three seasons and now head coach at Houston, also chimed in.
Gloves are off. I'd be proud to have @CoachZachSmith coach TD or Maverick. How many Gold Pants does that guy have? https://t.co/5cnV2mLV9H

Wherever the first image came from, Smith got the last laugh in more ways than one. First he posted a picture of some of the spoils of victory from his admittedly short career spent mostly with Urban Meyer.

On Sunday, Smith and Meyer got a verbal commitment from Austin Mack, a four-star receiver from Fort Wayne, Ind. He chose the Buckeyes from a group of finalists that also included Notre Dame, Tennessee and -- you guessed it -- Michigan.
