Nick Saban gets nails painted during visit to children's hospital

Nick Saban is doing everything in his power to prepare his team for Thursday'€™s Sugar Bowl.

The University of Alabama football coach is meticulously going over game film, contemplating strategy and ensuring that his nails look pretty for the big matchup against Oklahoma in New Orleans.

Yes, you read that correctly. While manicures usually don'€™t make it onto Saban'€s to-do list before games, the 62-year-old made an exception Monday when he and members of the Alabama football team visited the New Orleans Children'€™s Hospital in advance of the bowl game.

The man with the tough exterior revealed a softer side of himself as 12-year-old Gabrielle Mave painted Saban'€™s nails --€” hopefully with crimson and white polish.
