Miami Beach Bowl live stream: Watch Central Michigan vs Tulsa online

Here’s how you can watch Monday’s Miami Beach Bowl between Central Michigan and Tulsa online.

You can look at Tulsa’s 9-3 record and wonder how they got placed in a bowl game with a 6-6 Central Michigan team and it’s because both are evenly-matched, and that’s just how the postseason works in college football.

If the Golden Hurricane finished the job on Houston and Navy this year instead of losing by one score, they’d likely be in a much better bowl game with an 11-1 record, maybe 12-1 with a conference title. Still, they have one of the best offenses in the nation.

Dane Evans has passed for over 3,000 yards this season and Keevan Lucas has been his top receiver with over 1,000 yards receiving. James Flanders and D’Angelo Brewer are arguably the best backfield tandem in the country, both with over 1,000 yards on the season and 24 combined scores.

Central Michigan, on the other hand, has the best win out of either team with a road victory against Oklahoma State in September. That looked to give them a ton of confidence moving forward, but even after a 5-2 start, the Chippewas lost four of their last five games on the year.

Cooper Rush has been the Chippewas’ top performer this season, passing for 3,299 yards and 23 touchdowns. His 13 interceptions might be a bit higher than he would like, but that hasn’t been the main reason for the struggles in the final half of the season.

Unfortunately, there has been very little run game emanating from the Chippewas’ side of things. In fact, they average just over 100 yards per game on the ground and Devon Spalding is the leading rusher with only 737 yards and six touchdowns.

Here’s how you can watch Monday’s Miami Beach Bowl online:

Central Michigan could work more of its magic such as it did against Oklahoma State earlier in the season, but Tulsa won’t roll over easily.
