Louisville Football: TV, Time, And Info For the Heisman Trophy Ceremony

Published Jun. 30, 2017 6:28 p.m. ET

We take a look at everything you need to know for the Heisman Trophy ceremony, which Louisville football’s Lamar Jackson will attend.

This is the week that every Louisville football fan has been waiting for since Lamar Jackson hurdled that Syracuse defender in September. This coming Saturday night, we will learn if Jackson will be the first Louisville Cardinals football player to ever win the most coveted award in all of college sports.

Jackson has already won the ACC’s Player of the Year award, but winning the Heisman Trophy would truly be the best thing that could happen this season.

Here is everything you need to know about the Heisman Presentation on Saturday night:

When: Saturday, December 10th at 8:00pm

Where: New York City

TV: ESPN

Information About The Trophy: http://heisman.com/landing.aspx

Unlike any November or December Louisville basketball game, you won’t have to search through the TV Guide all evening to find the right channel. The Heisman Presentation will be on ESPN at 8:00pm.

Also, just in case you missed the five finalists for the award on Saturday, here they are below:

There has been a lot of buzz surrounding Deshaun Watson ever since Dabo Swinney decided to proclaim his quarterback as the best player in America after the ACC title game. The head coach from Clemson is just a tad bit biased in his assessment, but we wouldn’t expect anything different from him.

Other than Watson, I honestly don’t believe there is any reason for Louisville fans to worry over this award.

The National media loves to create discussion by mentioning other deserving players for the Heisman, but again, that shouldn’t worry you.

There have been multiple other Heisman Trophy winners that didn’t win the National Championship in the same season. This is Lamar Jackson’s award and hopefully everything goes as planned.
