Vaughn Hebron scored two rushing touchdowns and Andrew Shoop passed for one and ran for another, leading Lafayette to a 45-24 win over Fordham on Saturday.

Shoop was 16 of 24 for 259 passing yards with an interception, and also ran for 24 yards for the Leopards (3-4, 1-1 Patriot League). Lafayette, which outrushed Fordham 260-152, got 116 yards and a score from Pat Mputu and 65 more from Hebron.

The Rams (1-6, 0-3) led 14-7 after the first quarter, but Shoop's 8-yard TD run to start the second tied the game and Hebron's 5-yarder put Lafayette ahead for good.

The Leopards led 27-17 at halftime, and Mputu ran it in from 39 yards away with 3:22 left to play. Hebron closed the scoring with a 7-yard TD run just 25 seconds later.

Ryan Higgins threw for 413 yards with two touchdowns and an interception to lead Fordham.
