Jones vows Tennessee 'will produce NFL players'
The Volunteers' head coach is currently touring the South with the Big Orange Caravan, which kicked off in Memphis, Tennessee.
When asked to discuss the Vols' NFL Draft selection streak snapped after 51 years, Butch had some strong words for any doubters of his program.
"We produce NFL players at the University of Tennessee. Players come here to have a great opportunity to play in the National Football League, get a tremendous, tremendous education and be a part of something that's bigger than them and that's Tennessee football."
"It's all about recruiting and it's all about developing. We don't expect that to happen very often," Jones added. "Our players have worked exceptionally hard, and again, I think you'll see some players that have signed contracts that will surprise some people because I really truly believe they understand the style of play and the competitive nature that the next level brings about."
Don't expect Tennessee to start a streak of NFL Drafts without any selections, with as many as five to 10 professional prospects on their roster next season.
