In-state hate: Magic Johnson statue hit with maize spray paint

Nothing says college rivalry like a little vandalism between schools, so it probably came as little surprise to find out something occurred Wednesday night involving Michigan and Michigan State.

While a group of MSU students have been guarding the Sparty statue on campus in East Lansing, someone hit the Magic Johnson statue outside the Breslin Center instead.

The Spartans and Wolverines are set to kick off at 3:30 p.m. ET Saturday in Ann Arbor.
