Harvard beats Dartmouth for 13th straight time, 23-21

HANOVER, N.H. (AP) Semar Smith's 7-yard touchdown run late in the third quarter proved to be the winning points in Harvard's 23-21 victory over Dartmouth on Saturday.
The Crimson (6-1, 4-0) kept pace atop the Ivy League with Penn while the Big Green (3-4, 0-4) is winless in conference play after finishing in a three-way tie for the Ivy title with Harvard and Penn last season.
Smith's score with eight seconds left in the third quarter completed a 12-play, 72-yard drive for a 23-14 lead. The Crimson's PAT was blocked and Dartmouth scored on Jack Heneghan's 9-yard run with 2:32 remaining but Harvard ran out the clock.
Joe Viviano was 19 of 30 for 206 yards passing and a touchdown for Harvard, which has won 13 straight against Dartmouth.
Dartmouth matched its season low with 69 rushing yards. Heneghan was 32 of 48 for 299 yards and a score. Hunter Hagdorn had 11 catches and 116 yards.
