SALT LAKE CITY (AP) A former Utah State football player who was dropped by the Atlanta Falcons in August over multiple sexual assault allegations has been charged with four counts of rape, one count of sexual assault and one count of kidnapping.

The Herald Journal in Logan reported the charges Thursday (http://bit.ly/2dVJRrW ) against 22-year-old Torrey Green. The Cache County Attorney's Office this summer began re-reviewing sex assault allegations that multiple women made against Green from his time at Utah State.

The charges filed Thursday include allegations from 2013 through 2016.

Green does not yet have a lawyer and a message left with his spokesman Zack Teperman was not returned Thursday.

After the county attorney's office confirmed the investigation in August, Teperman said Green believed he would be found innocent.
