ESPN's prediction for Louisville Football's bowl game going into week 8

We take a look at which Bowl game the Louisville Football team will be playing in at the end of the 2016 college football season.

Another week goes by as the Louisville football team is trying to fight their way back into being one of the top four teams in the nation. Thanks to the NC State Wolfpack, the Cardinals ACC title hopes took a huge hit last weekend when their kicker missed the winning field goal. At the end of the day, you can’t put your season in another team’s hands.

That’s a lesson that the Cards are learning the hard way in the 2016 season.

It doesn’t mean that this year will be a disappointment if they don’t make the playoffs, but it still would be a major accomplishment for the program. However, a New Year’s Six bowl would still be a major success as well and it looks like that it exactly where the Cardinals could be going.

Here is ESPN’s bowl predictions for Louisville going into week eight of the season:

Capital One Orange Bowl

Hard Rock Stadium, Miami Gardens, Florida
Dec. 30, 8 p.m. (ESPN)

Schlabach: Louisville vs. Tennessee
McMurphy: Louisville vs. Nebraska

Oh the good ole Orange Bowl. How we have hated to see you on the predictions list every week since the Clemson loss. At least this week Schlabach and McMurphy switched out Wisconsin for Nebraska. Either way, those two match-ups would be amazing games to watch.

Okay, maybe not the Cornhuskers.
