Elon vs. New Hampshire moved to Friday due to hurricane

(STATS) - Elon University has moved its scheduled home game Saturday against New Hampshire to Friday night due to the threat of inclement weather from Hurricane Matthew.

Elon is located in North Carolina about 20 miles east of Greensboro, and the hurricane is expected to move up through the Eastern Seaboard this weekend.

Matthew could result in a date or time change for many other college football games in the south, including matchups involving ACC and SEC schools.
