Ducks OC Frost believes it's time to stop QB carousel

After falling to 1-2 in Pac-12 play and 3-3 overall, Ducks offensive coordinator Scott Frost believes it might be time to stop the quarterback carousel.

Without starting QB Vernon Adams Jr., the Ducks have turned to a combination of Jeff Lockie and Taylor Alie. The revolving door at QB hasn't really worked out for Oregon.

"We've played three people over the course of the year and I don't care if you have exceptional players, it's hard to have people in and out of the games like that," Frost said. "Unfortunately, we've had an injury and it's been a rotation there since the beginning of the year. If we can get a little more standard at that position, or get a little more consistency at that position, I think it's going to help us a lot."

Adams is still on the mend from a broken right index finger and may or may not be able to play against Washington on Saturday. Frost said that Adams will be the starter as soon as he is healthy.

"Sooner or later I think that will decide itself and we'll get back to doing things how we usually do," he said.
