Nate Eachus rushed for 212 yards and two touchdowns Saturday as Colgate defeated Lafayette 24-14 in a Patriot League game.

Lafayette led 7-0 midway through the first quarter on a 1-yard touchdown run by Alan Elder. But Lafayette quarterback Marc Quilling threw four interceptions, the first giving the Raiders (5-4, 2-2) the lead for good. Lamont Sonds picked it off and returned it 3 yards to give Colgate a 10-7 lead with 8:32 left in the second quarter, and the Raiders were on their way to snapping a two-game losing streak.

Eachus carried the ball 32 times, including touchdown runs of 34 and 9 yards, as the Raiders built the lead to 24-7 in the third quarter. Quilling, who completed 17 of 33 passes for 233 yards, was forced to throw in the hopes of rallying the Leopards (2-7, 1-2). But two of his passes were intercepted by Chris DiMassa, halting drives.
