Here is what our staff has to say about the game.

Andrew Boardwine

Score: Clemson 52, SC State 17

Reason: The offense finally cleans up some drops and gets on the same page. Look for a nice blowout for Clemson football as they head into a short week against Georgia Tech.

Tyreese Ingram

Score: Clemson 45, SC State 3

Reason: This team needs a convincing win and to regain their swagger and create some momentum to fulfill their goals. The Bulldogs come to Clemson at the worst time and the score board should reflect it early in the first half.

More from Rubbing the Rock

    Ben Greeson

Score: Clemson 55, SC State 10

Reason: I think the coaching staff, and the country as a whole has woken up the Clemson offense. No more drops and an improved running game will get the Tigers running on all cylinders.

    Cole Little

Score: Clemson 51, SC State 20

Reason: After looking suspect in the first two games, expect Clemson’s offense to put on a show against FCS opponent South Carolina State.

    Travis Pettigrew

Score: Clemson 45, SC State 6

Reason: Clemson finally gets the offense in sync this week against an inferior opponent.
