Death Valley will host a monster matchup of top-five unbeatens this weekend when the Clemson football team faces off with Louisville this Saturday.
This is, without a doubt, one of the top games- as far as rankings go- in recent Clemson football history and will determine the future, as far as 2016 is concerned, of both programs.
The winner of this game- whether it be Clemson or Louisville- becomes the frontrunner for the College Football Playoff.

The loser of this game, unfortunately, will have to rely on a bunch of teams losing and a favorable outlook from the committee.
Most likely, however, this is a College Football Playoff elimination game.
The ACC, for whatever reason, is just not respect and a one loss team without a conference championship will probably not be considered, so it is a must-win for both sides.
That may be what makes this the matchup of 2016 for College Football.
I doubt there will be many games the rest of this season that feature two top-five teams and even the ones that do, the loser of the game may not be eliminated from playoff talk.
On the flip side, the winner of this game probably moves to No. 2 in the nation with the promise that if they take care of business they will have a spot in the final four.
As a matter of fact, the winner of this game will probably be the No. 1 team in the nation when to CFB Playoff rankings come out in a few weeks.
This matchup- believe it or not- has almost become the ACC Atlantic Championship game and the Tigers will need to bring everything they have to contend with a very talented Louisville team.
