Charlie Strong needs major impact from Texas' incoming freshman class

Redshirt might not be a term used for many of the freshman in the Texas Longhorns' incoming class.
Charlie Strong needs instant impact in his second season and that means his first full recruiting class at Texas, one nationally hailed and stocked with four-star-level talent, has to hit the field, and hit it hard.
Already, five-star linebacker Malik Jefferson and right tackle Connor Williams, both early enrollees, look like major players on Texas' two-deep roster.
But the Horns will need more help than that.
Bleacher Report suggests that of the 22 players that will join Jefferson and Williams in Austin this summer, at least 13 have a path to the playing field right away.
So which players will step up?
Among the favorites, according to Bleacher Report are cornerbacks Holton Hill and Kris Boyd, wide receiver Ryan Newsome, who had a last-minute change of heart away from UCLA, safety DeShon Elliott and athlete DeAndre McNeal.
