Wisconsin center Peter Konz injured his ankle against Minnesota.

Konz was hurt on a running play in the fourth quarter and was taken off the field on a cart. Coach Bret Bielema said after the 42-13 victory by the Badgers on Saturday that he wasn't sure how serious the injury was. Konz's friend and linemate Kevin Zeitler said ''it looked pretty bad.''

Konz is on the national watch list for the Rimington Trophy, given annually to the top center in the FBS level. The junior is considered a top NFL prospect and is the anchor of a powerful offensive line that has led Wisconsin to an average of more than 46 points per game this season.
