Alabama Football Trivia: Which of these Bama Players Has Won a SuperBowl?

Former Alabama Football super star Dont’a Hightower won his ring with the New England Patriots in Super Bowl 49.

Alabama Football great Dont’a Hightower was drafted by New England as the 25th overall pick in the 1st round of the 2012 NFL draft and won a Super Bowl with the Patriots to cap off a championship 2014 season. Hightower made a monster tackle against Marshawn Lynch at the 1 yard line in the penultimate play of the game to help the Patriots seal the win against the Seahawks.

Games don’t get any bigger than the Super Bowl but even before he won that ring Hightower was no stranger to the big stage. He won 2 National Championship as a heavy hitter for the Crimson Tide in 2009 and 2011 and was named a consensus All-American for his effort.

He has come a long way from his season ending injury against Arkansas in the 2009 season to being a Super Bowl champion and on his way to play for another NFL title.

He won’t be the only former Alabama Football player on the field this afternoon. The Crimson Tide will have 4 former stars suiting up for the big game. Their names, well-known to Bama fans are:
