ACC Players of the week: Jordan Leggett and Tyrone Crowder

Published Jun. 30, 2017 6:28 p.m. ET

The ACC had an eventful weekend. Clemson vs Florida State  lived up to its billing with Jordan Leggett scoring the game winning touchdown late into the 4th quarter. Surprisingly, Virginia gave Louisville a scare. Lamar Jackson and the Cardinals squeaked by with a 32-25 victory in Charlottesville. With all of the great individual performances over the weekend, Clemson still managed to have two players named ACC’s football players of the week.

The massive 6’2, 340 lb guard was unmovable against the Noles.  Crowder did not let up one sack all night. Florida State has a talented defensive line featuring guys like DeMarcus Walker and Josh Sweat, still, no one was able to blow by Crowder. Tyrone also recorded 4 knockdown blocks.

Jordan Leggett (Sr) Receiver:

Leggett got off to a slow start in his career, however, he has played at an elite level during his junior and senior seasons. The senior tight-end gashed the Noles again in 2016. The native Floridian snagged 5 catches for 122 yards and the game winning touchdown against the Seminoles.
