ST. LOUIS (AP) Zach Brown and Ron Baker each scored 14 points and Wichita State sandwiched a big run around intermission to post a 68-53 win over Saint Louis Saturday night.

Austin Gillmann hit a 3-pointer with 1:43 left in the first half to pull the Billikens within a point, 26-25, but the Shockers closed the half on a 6-0 run and pushed it to a 16-1 run early in the second half.

The victory snapped a three-game losing string for Wichita State (3-4), the school's longest since a six-game streak January, 2013. The short-handed Shockers lost all three of their games at the AdvoCare Invitational, falling to USC, Alabama and Iowa.

Shaquille Morris scored 12 points and Fred VanVleet added 11 as Wichita State shot 48.1 percent from the field, including 6 of 20 from distance.

Miles Reynolds scored 14 points to lead Saint Louis (4-3). Gillman added 12 points.
