The 208-page media guide contains player and staff profiles, information on the Smith Center and Tar Heel basketball history.  The guide also includes a detailed account of records held by the program and its individual players.

Also included in this year’s UNC basketball media guide are player profiles on each member of the 2016-17 Tar Heels. The profiles are comprised of pictures, player bios, prior season’s stats and accomplishments as well as career highlights.

Expectations in Chapel Hill are high this season, as the Tar Heels return the majority of the team that reached the NCAA Tournament championship game in April.

After losing seniors Marcus Paige and Brice Johnson, the Tar Heels will look to veterans Joel Berry II, Nate Britt, Justin Jackson, Isaiah Hicks and Kennedy Meeks for leadership. Also in the mix for the Tar Heels this season is a top-ten recruiting class that includes five-star big man Tony Bradley.

The Tar Heels begin their season on the road against Tulane in New Orleans on November 11th.
