'Seinfeld' actress' son a walk-on for Northwestern basketball

Who knew Elaine from "Seinfeld" had so much athletic ability?

Julia Louis-Dreyfus, the actress who played Elaine on the popular sitcom, has a son who attends Northwestern. As it turns out, he's quite the athlete himself.

Charlie Hall is a 6-foot-5, 205-pound freshman out of Los Angeles. His mom and dad -- Brad Hall -- are both Northwestern alums.

Hall averaged 15.3 points per game, 11 rebounds and five assists as a senior at Crossroads High School.

We'll see if he gets any playing time, but the Wildcats could certainly use a jolt of energy. Northwestern has never made the NCAA tournament in school history.
