Taylor Braun scored 21 points and North Dakota State shot a season-best 64.4 percent in a 96-69 rout of Oakland on Wednesday night.
Lawrence Alexander had 11 points and 10 assists for the Bison (9-3, 2-1 Summit League), who fired out with an early 17-0 spurt. Mike Felt added 16, TrayVonn Wright 15 and Dylan Hale 12.
North Dakota State made 38 of 59 shots and 12 of 20 from 3-point distance.
Reggie Hamilton scored 24 points for the Golden Grizzlies (8-7, 2-1), on a three-game losing streak for the first time since 2008. Travis Bader added 12 for the Grizzlies, who shot 37.5 percent (21 of 56).
With Oakland up 5-2, the Bison ran off 17 in a row to make it 19-5 with 13:56 left in the first half. They extended the gap to 50-30 at intermission.
The loss was Oakland's fourth worst ever in the Summit League.
