DAVIDSON, N.C. (AP) — Kellan Grady tossed in 23 points, including eight in the final 3:43, and Jon Axel Gudmundsson scored 24 to help Davidson rally for a 79-76 victory over Dartmouth on Friday night.

The Wildcats (2-0) were down 76-68 when Grady turned in a 3-point play and a layup to cut the deficit to three with 2:34 remaining. Carter Collins buried his only 3-pointer of the night — one of Davidson's four made 3s in the game — to knot the score at 76-all with 54 seconds left. Chris Knight missed a jumper and then fouled Grady on a 3-point attempt. The sophomore guard hit all three of his free throws to put the Wildcats out in front with 4 seconds left. Brendan Barry misfired on a 3 at the buzzer for the Big Green (1-1), who led for 19:56 in the second half.

Gudmundsson finished with eight rebounds as the Wildcats posted a 37-30 advantage on the boards. Freshman forward Luka Brajkovic chipped in with 18 points and seven rebounds.

Adrease Jackson paced Dartmouth with 16 points and eight rebounds. Ian Sistare came off the bench to score 15 on 5-of-6 shooting from 3-point range.
