Bethune-Cookman battles past Florida College 81-79, OT (Dec 10, 2016)

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (AP) Brandon Tabb scored 22 points and Bethune-Cookman needed overtime to defeat Florida College 81-79 on Saturday.

Diamante Lewis stole the ball and drove for the game-winning points on a layup with just over a minute remaining in overtime as Florida College, a small USCAA Christian school, missed its final three shots. Lewis' basket made it 80-79 and Tabb added the final point, making one of two foul shots with two seconds left.

Lewis finished with 16 points as did Quinton Forrest, Reggie Baker added 14. Tabb hit five 3-pointers with seven rebounds and four assists. Jeffrey Altidort led with seven assists.

Anthony Allen led the Falcons (3-9) with 22 points and 11 rebounds. Kent Hegarty tossed in 15 points, Eddie Moralobo 13 and Zach Brock 10.

Florida College led by as many as 10 in the second half before Lewis tied it at 70-70 on a pair of foul shots to force overtime.
