Solomon Bozeman scored 15 points, including 8 of 9 from the free-throw line, as Arkansas-Little Rock upset West Division co-champ Arkansas State 59-52 in the quarterfinals of the Sun Belt Conference tournament Sunday night.

The Trojans (17-16) advanced to face Middle Tennessee, a 73-38 winner over Florida International, in the Sun Belt semifinals Monday night.

Alex Garcia-Mendoza added 13 points and Montrell Thornton 10 as the Trojans ended a three-game losing streak to the Red Wolves.

Rashad Allison led Arkansas State (17-15) with 16 points. Arkansas-Little Rock led 30-29 at halftime and never trailed in the second half.

It was not a good night for league champions in the quarterfinals. Louisiana-Lafayette, which shared the West title with Arkansas State, and East champ Florida Atlantic also lost Sunday.
