Impact Amdouni went down in mid-August with an ACL injury, and in a bit of a surprise, the attacker is already making solid progress in his return, back on grass Thursday. This likely does mean a few more months before a return can even be thought about, currently eyeing a return sometime in April or May. That said, the attacker is still going to be a close call to return to this campaign, although he is running and eyeing a return to the field in a few weeks, so he is moving in the right direction.

If Burnley wants any chance of staying in the Premier League for another season, their starting forward will have to produce more, as the club has the lowest amount of goals in the league to this point, only recording nine.
