Undergoes surgery Eddahchouri (wrist) has begun his recovery process following successful surgery on his left wrist, the club reported Friday.

Impact Eddahchouri will spend a spell on the sidelines after sustaining the injury during a training session, leaving his team without another attacking option while Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (knee) is out as well. Prior to this issue, the 26-year-old made four league appearances as a substitute, racking up one goal along with three shots, one cross and one chance created over that span. Bil Nsongo and Jonathan Asp-Jensen appear to be the main beneficiaries in terms of playing time going forward.

Impact Eddahchouri recorded an assist Saturday despite playing only the final 15 minutes off the bench. While he enjoyed success in La Liga 2 last season, he has yet to break into the starting XI this campaign, with the club's signing of the more experienced Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang limiting him to a reserve role early in their return to the top flight.
