Impact Engelhardt has been a cornerstone for the entire campaign, recording two goals, two assists, 14 chances created and 43 tackels in 31 appearances (29 starts), but he wasn't retained before June 30. Impact Engelhardt isn't a frequent offensive contributor, but he got involved during Saturday's draw. He set up a single chance which proved to be crucial during the three-all draw. The defender isn't going to become an offensive dynamo during the break, but a nice goal contribution is a good way to set up for the Bundesliga run in.

Suspension served Engelhardt is available going forward after being ineligible Friday against Bayern Munich.

Impact Engelhardt is expected to return to the starting lineup, especially with Rocco Reitz now banned for the March 13 fixture against St. Pauli. Suspended one game Engelhardt will serve a one-match ban due to an accumulation of five yellow cards in the Bundesliga.

Impact Engelhardt picked up his fifth yellow card in Bundesliga action and will miss Friday's clash against Bayern due to suspension. The midfielder has been a mainstay in the center of the pitch for Gladbach all season, cementing himself in the starting XI and delivering consistent, reliable minutes. His absence forces a shake-up in the lineup, with Florian Neuhaus lining up as a potential replacement to step in against the Bavarians.

Impact Engelhardt took a single shot and created a single chance during Saturday's draw, but that was all it took for a draw. The defensive midfielder made the most of his limited chances to come away with a point. It's unlikely that this turns into any sort of long-term offensive breakout for Engelhardt, despite the nice return Saturday.
